Write a Post

Posts are article-style entries. They can have a cover image, publication date, categories, authors, and attachments.

  1. Open Collections.
  2. Choose Posts.
  3. Select the correct site.
  4. Select Create Entry.
FieldGuidance
TitlePublic headline
Working TitleInternal reference name, not shown to visitors
LeadShort teaser for listing cards, up to about 300 characters
Body TextMain article content
Cover ImageMain image for the post header and listing card
Release DateDate when the post should become public
Primary CategoryMain category, used in the post URL
Secondary CategoriesAdditional filters or topic labels
AuthorsMembers credited as authors
AttachmentsDownload buttons for linked files or external resources

Choose one Primary Category before publishing. The primary category is part of the post URL. Changing it later can change the public URL.

Use Secondary Categories only for extra classification. They do not replace the primary category.

Posts with a future release date stay private until that date. Use this for scheduled publication, but still preview the post before relying on the schedule.

For each attachment row:

  1. Enter the button label.
  2. Use either an external URL or a file upload.
  3. Do not use both unless the responsible editor confirms which one should win.

Use the SEO fields when the normal title or lead is not suitable for search results or social previews.
