Manage Votes and Media Kits
Votes and media kits are smaller structured collections. Votes document recommendations or results. Media kits provide downloadable material for visitors and press contacts.
Create a Vote
Section titled “Create a Vote”- Open Collections.
- Choose Votes.
- Select the correct site.
- Select Create Entry.
Vote Fields
Section titled “Vote Fields”| Field | Guidance |

| Title | Name of the vote or initiative |
| Vote Date | Official voting date |
| Result | Yes, No, Abstention, or Pending |
| Reasoning | Short explanation of the party position |
| Linked Post | Optional post with more detail |
| Slug | URL identifier |
Use Pending until the result is official. Link a post when the recommendation needs a longer explanation.
Create a Media Kit
Section titled “Create a Media Kit”- Open Collections.
- Choose Media Kits.
- Select Create Entry.
Media Kit Fields
Section titled “Media Kit Fields”| Field | Guidance |

| Name | Internal kit name, such as “Logo Pack 2024” |
| Module Title | Public title shown to visitors |
| Preview Image | Thumbnail for the kit |
| Download Buttons | One or more downloadable files |
| Button Label | Short label for the download button |
| File | PDF, ZIP, or other downloadable asset |
| Color | Button color, blue or green |
Media kit files are stored in the media_kits asset folder. Replace outdated files instead of adding duplicates when the public link should keep pointing to the latest version.
Publish Checklist
Section titled “Publish Checklist”- Vote dates and results match the official position.
- Linked posts are already published or ready to publish.
- Media kit downloads open correctly.
- Button labels clearly describe the download.
